Saturday Afternoon: 8th Annual Outer Banks Gay Pride Festival in Nags Head!
This family-friendly LGBTQ festival, co-hosted by the fabulous Jennifer Warner and Cliff Warner, is the main event on Saturday, September 22nd. This FREE afternoon of concert bands, craft beers, local seafood restaurants, vendors and entertainers is located at the Soundside Event Site, near milepost 16.5, highway 158, Nags Head. Between bands we will have drag performances TBA!
One of the performances this year is to be by Maida, who is an international artist from Erfurt, Germany. She is well known for her Melissa Etheridge Tribute performances and has acquired a huge following here in the USA. This will be her second visit to the US and she will be sharing with us her new single due to be released mid summer.
The Outer Banks LGBTQ Pride festival will also feature local arts & crafts, nonprofits and souvenir vendors, local restaurant foods and raffles! Beer and wine will be sold by the Lost Colony Brewery, an award winning microbrewery and seafood or vegan choices sold by local restaurants. Please see our lodging recommendations on the “Where to Stay” page. We highly recommend the Roanoke Island Inn and the Cameron House Inn, two longtime supporters and sponsors.
