Our Sponsors Help Make OBX Pride Possible

Dear Valued Outer Banks Community Partner,

We are pleased to inform you that the 13th Annual OBX Pridefest will be held Monday, September 9th through Sunday, September 15th, 2024. We have expanded and enhanced our celebration of inclusion and diversity in the OBX to span seven days. In addition to the main festival on Saturday, September 14th, which is expected to draw over 2,000 people, we will have a welcome event, two sunset cruises, a drag show, a five
course meal, two pub crawls, a headliner event, a drag brunch and a wrap party. We want to add additional events or highlight attractions/restaurants, etc. Monday through Wednesday as our scheduled events to date run Thursday through Sunday.

OBX PrideFest week is the flagship fundraiser produced by OBX Pride, Inc., a 501(c)3 local non-profit organization. Established in 2011, OBX Pride, Inc. our mission is to eliminate prejudices and discrimination toward the LBGTQ+ community, to encourage businesses to be LBGTQ-friendly, and to increase tourism to the OBX while honoring the diverse community.

The OBX Pride Board members are committed to fulfilling our mission and we need your help as we continue planning a fun week of events! We want to send our visitors to your establishments. We want to advertise the businesses, promote your pride week specials and most importantly we want all our visitors to feel welcome in the Outer Banks. We have several different ways you can collaborate with us:

How to Sponsor OBX Pridefest

In-kind donations:

Hosting a special event at your establishment during Pride week
Having pride-week food and drink specials at your establishment
Loan cornhole boxes and bags for play at the festival on Saturday
Loan Kids’ Zone games for the festival on Saturday
Raffle items for events throughout the week
Volunteers

Sponsorship Opportunities:

Friends of OBX Pridefest – Support special/specific Pridefest activities. 2024’s Friends will support:

Face painting at the Kids’ Zone (Need two sponsors $125)
Drag Story Hour (Need two sponsors $125)
Hors D’oeuvres for two sunset cruises (Need four sponsors $125)

In appreciation of your financial contribution your business or organization will be recognized at Saturday’s main event.

You will receive one complimentary vendor space (prime location) at the main event on Saturday.
Two complimentary tickets to Friday night drag show, Saturday night headliner event, or Thursday evening sunset cruise.
Your logo will be used on any promotional materials (sponsorship donation must be received before the final print date).
Finally, you will be designated as the presenting sponsor for one OBX Pride event show of your choice (Friday night Drag Show or Sunday Drag Brunch), with one announcement during the show.

Cape Hatteras Light – $5000+

Your business logo listed at the top of our sponsor page as the “Presenting Sponsor”, linking to your website, on www.obxpridefest.com for one year.

A complimentary vendor booth space during the Saturday Music Festival, with premiere location close to the event stage.
Four complimentary tickets to Friday night drag show, Saturday night headliner event, or Thursday evening sunset cruise.
Your logo will be used on any promotional materials (sponsorship donation must be received before the final print date) and you’ll be listed as “Presenting Sponsor”.
You will be designated as the presenting sponsor for the main event, the OBX Pridefest, located at Roanoke Island Festival Park with announcements throughout the day.
Finally, you will be announced as the “Presenting Sponsor” at Saturday evening’s headliner event.
