This FREE, family-friendly, LGBTQ+ Pride festival is our main event on Saturday afternoon from 12 – 6 PM at Roanoke Island Festival Park. Enjoy live bands, king and queen drag performers, food vendors, craft and souvenir vendors, kids corner with face painting, games, beer, wine and more at a Free family-friendly Pride festival at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo.
*Please note: No coolers are allowed and alcohol cannot be carried out. Please bring cash or a card and support our local food vendors and artisans! You must bring a photo ID to drink alcohol.

Then, when the sun goes down, the party turns up at Lone Cedar with OBX Pride After Dark: DJ Steven Pack starting at 10:00 PM. 🎶💃

The Outer Banks LGBTQ Pride festival will also feature local arts & crafts, nonprofits, and souvenir vendors, local restaurant food vendors and beer available for purchase. Our restaurant vendors will offer a variety of Outer Banks specialties. Please see our lodging recommendations on the Where to Stay page.
Apply to become a vendor or sign up as a volunteer for our event.
Only service animals are allowed. The Festival will go on rain or shine and storms usually pass quickly.
*Backpacks or oversized bags will be searched at the Pavilion Gates

A true showgirl at heart, Gigi is always ready to put on show, make people feel embraced and hopefully, change a mind or two and now she’s sashaying her way to the Outer Banks as the headliner of OBX Pride 2026!
Get ready for a glamorous, high-energy performance from the queen who proves there’s always time for a show!

Delighted Tobehere was named as one of the funniest drag queens in America by the Huffington Post, and the internationally celebrated comedian Pam Ann says that she is “hysterical!”

Roy Fahrenheit
In the ’80s, Roy Fahrenheit was just a sleazy, part-time valet taking joy rides in rich people’s cars while lip syncing to Queen- until one night, he went above 88 miles per hour in a 1981 DeLorean and… You can see where this is going, the next thing he knew he was in the year 2019! He liked it in the future so much, he decided to stay and pursue his dream of becoming a sickening entertainer.
He is Mr. Pride Winston-Salem 2024, and the king of Queeraoke at Hel’s every Wednesday night— if you wanna have a good time, just give him a call!

Jamie Monroe
North Carolina’s Sweetheart, is a 40-year veteran in the art of drag. Widely known for her illusions of famous stars such as: Marilyn Monroe, Stevie Nicks, Debbie Harry just to name a few. Jamie is a forever Miss NC America, Miss Georgia USofA, Miss NC USofA, and will draw you in with her electrifying performances.
Jamie is no stranger to OBX Pridefest, as she has been a part since 2014. OBX is her favorite Pride celebration next to Salisbury Pride, her beloved hometown’s celebration where she is a host for the event and serves on the Board of Directors. OBX is also her favorite coastal destination.

Emily Musolino

Hailing from Durham, North Carolina, Emily Musolino has been crafting a unique soulful sound for nearly two decades. Heavily influenced by powerhouse vocalists like Etta James and guitarists like Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Emily’s music is a dynamic mix of blues and shredding rock guitar with hints of classic outlaw country.
Growing up LGBT in the southeast, Musolino finds an emotional outlet by writing raw, vulnerable stories in her songs with strong queer and feminist messaging. Studio owner, producer, singer-songwriter, Berklee graduate – Emily Musolino is a unique musical talent that fits in no bounded box and brings an energetic excitement to every crowd, stage, and venue that experiences her performances.
Sass

Sara “Sass” Siders, is a singer/songwriter based out of central Illinois. Sass’ sound mixes elements of blues, rock, country, hip-hop, R&B, and soul, creating a unique style all her own. Add in that raspy, sultry voice and one-of-a-kind covers, she’s guaranteed to leave you speechless and wanting more.

Freekbass
Freekbass tours as a one-man band performing as a DJ (beats/samples/grooves), who adds live instrumentation: bass, guitar, keys, talk box and percussion, using a loop station. He occasionally also hits the road as bass player for other touring bands or can be seen as “Artist at Large” at festivals.

Porcelain Parrot
Porcelain Parrot is an outfit of super smash bros. and melee enjoyers from asheville, nc. The group blends together influences from 2nd wave emo, shoegaze, and alternative country to create melodic, thoughtful, and personal songs- accented by themes of grief, love, and wanderlust.
